Work from home typing jobs are springing up all over the net and have been for quite some time. But be warned, all is not what they seem with these websites and you will want to know these five things that I've discovered when I tried to get work from home typing jobs.

Work from home typing jobs, data entry, online survey and getting paid per click are all very dangerous places to look for an income, but if you're determined to find something that works please take advantage of this.

1. An oldie but a goodie:

If it sounds to good to be true, it is. Thousands of websites are offering obscene amounts of money for seemingly tiny and easy amount of work. If you've seen ad's claiming such things as make US$300/day with just a couple of hours of work, it's a lie. Truth is it is next to impossible to make this much money per day unless you are working for over 8 hours a day. So if you see offers like this you can pretty much write them off as scams, or at least acknowledge that they are very misleading and you won't get what they claim when they say they do.

2. Limited Time:

One sneaky but very effective technique that the sales page of one of these offers will use is to give a time constraint. Such as, "buy now because there are only 47 items left" and they will usually have 97 or whatever number they started with crossed out to make it appear that there isn't much time to buy.

3. Membership Fee:

This should be obvious but if you have to pay a fee to one of these sites then it's a scam. They'
re not going to give you some amazing secret that nobody else has that will give you the advantage over everyone and make you thousands of dollars easily. This simply doesn't exist, you are looking for a job, they should want you and want to pay you, without you having to pay a cent.

4. Page design:

Another thing scam work from home typing jobs will do is work on your subconscious by relating their offer to wealth and freedom. They do this with obvious things like pictures of luxury houses, cars and boats and much more subtle things like the way the text is placed, what type of text, font size etc.
They have paid people who have been "copy writing" for years that know how to trigger the emotions of the viewer into buying. Real work from home typing jobs will not do anything like this, if anything they will be a bit boring to look at and not emotionally appealing. Just like the job itself.

5. The amount of money you can make:

Obviously most income figures are blown out of proportion by scam sites. It is possible to get a US$10-15 dollar an hour job, this is the average and these jobs are very rarely available. Think about how many people are competing against you for these jobs and how many people from Asia and other places that are willing to do the work for a much, much lower cost.

I hope this has educated at least a few people about work from home typing jobs and the problems that will be encountered. In conclusion it's a very competitive industry, with quite poor income potential and is riddled with scams and liars. If you're still after online income I would highly recommend Internet Marketing, see my site below for more information.
